Oswego JV Opens its Season with a Split Weekend of Games

On Friday, the team skated to a 4–2 win over the Lincoln-Way Lancers. Jason Blankenburg, Blake Cetnar, Jimmy Judd, and Logan Oster found the back of the net, with Carson MacLennan chipping in two assists. Oswego controlled play with a 37–19 shot advantage, while goalie Drane stopped 17 shots to secure the victory.

Saturday brought a hard-fought battle against the DuPage Stars, where Oswego came up just short in a 2–1 loss. Isaac Allen tallied the lone goal with help from Brendan Wolford, and Drane turned aside 21 of 23 shots to keep it tight. Despite outshooting DuPage 29–23, the Stars held on late for the win.
